Mauro Corinti

Mauro Corinti was born in Codogno LO, Italy in 1978.

Graduated from Scientific High School, he attended a three-years Course of Photography at the CFP R. Bauer in Milan.

After one year of Civil Service at the Administrative Office of Italian WWF in Milan, he has collaborated with many photographic studios since 2000.
In 2001 he started his cooperation with some Italian NGO. While working for IBO (Ferrara), he spent some months in India where he took a photo-reportage about a minority of african origin, living in the southern provinces. In 2003 he began his close business relations with Soleterre Onlus (Milano) and went to Marocco and Central America.
In 2005 he flew to Ukraine several times; while he was working at the Oncological Pediatric Department in Kiev he took photos for the 2006 Campaign on the 20th Anniversary of Cernobyl' Nuclear Accident.


In the last two years he has visited Ivory Coast, China and South East Asia.

In 2003 he had his first personal exhibition "Inside UK" at the Cine-Photographic Club in Fiorenzuola (PC) and at the gallery "Il Punto" in Bologna.
In 2005 he had a photo exhibition at Villa Vistarini/Biancardi in Zorlesco (LO) to raise funds for the NGO Soleterre.
In 2006 he started his collaboration with the italian sculptor Mauro Ceglie to make the photographic catalogue "Strenght in Shapes" of the exhibition held at the BPL Bank in Lodi, with an introduction by Vittorio Sgarbi.

He is used to travelling and working both alone and with reporters and NGO staff members.

At the moment he is living and working in Italy.
